Rohan Maletira is an NYC-based actor, originally from Bay Area, CA.

In March 2026, he made his professional stage debut playing the titular character in Jonah (by Rachel Bonds, d. Taylor Reynolds) at Studio Theatre in D.C. In June 2026, he did a staged reading at Powerhouse Theatre at Vassar College for pits (by Abe Johnson, d. Ryan Dobrin)

He recently graduated from the University of Michigan where he received a BFA in Acting. There, he played Daniel Kaffee in A Few Good Men (by Aaron Sorkin, d. Geoff Packard) and Solyony in Moscow, Moscow, Moscow, Moscow, Moscow, Moscow (by Halley Feiffer, d. Ryan Dobrin) among others.

Rohan Maletira is drawn to art that embraces vulnerability, honesty, and the raw outcome of human behavior. Through his performances, he seeks to create opportunities for both himself and audiences to empathize with and see themselves reflected in the character. In a world where technology often distances us from one another, he is fascinated by the ways characters navigate isolation and search for connection. These questions continue to inspire and guide his artistic work.

In his free time, he produces music centered around hip-hop and rnb, writes for fun, and loves to people-watch on long subway rides into the city.
